  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped, cilantro makes a great substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For grilling.
For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  • 1 cup Plain Yogurt Coconut yogurt for a dairy-free alternative.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Wet your hands to prevent sticking, then shape the mixture into 10 to 12 oval or cylindrical forms.
  3. Preheat the grill to a medium-high setting. Lightly brush the grates with olive oil.
  4. Carefully place the shaped chicken kofta on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt with lemon juice and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  6. Once cooked, remove the kofta from the grill and serve warm with garlic yogurt sauce.
