Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, turmeric, cumin, and fresh lime juice. Whisk the mixture well until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add the sliced chicken breasts into the marinade and toss gently to ensure every piece is well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour—preferably overnight.
- While the chicken marinates, preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C). If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water during this time.
- Once marinated, thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers in a single layer, allowing space between each piece for even cooking.
- Place the skewers in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side until golden, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- While the chicken cooks, heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk together peanut butter, water, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, sriracha, and minced garlic until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Once the Chicken Satay is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest briefly. Serve with peanut sauce and garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.

Notes
Allow the chicken to marinate overnight for deeper flavor absorption and tenderness. Preheat your air fryer for an even cook and achieve that appealing char.
