Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by trimming any excess fat from the boneless skinless chicken thighs, ensuring they are neat and ready for marinating.
  2. In a large bowl or a zip-top bag, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and a touch of salt and pepper. Whisk thoroughly.
  3. Add the trimmed chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Seal the bag or cover and refrigerate for at least 3 to 4 hours.
  4. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) as the marinated chicken rests.
  5. Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and place the marinated chicken thighs inside. Bake for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice and serve warm, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Marinating for 3-4 hours enhances flavor without making chicken overly salty. For best results, use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
