Step-by-Step Instructions for Egg and Ham Breakfast Sandwich
- In a medium bowl, crack the large eggs and whisk them together. Add a pinch of kosher salt and a dash of white pepper.
- Place a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Allow the butter to melt completely.
- Pour the egg mixture into the hot skillet and gently swirl it to spread evenly within the pan. Let cook undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread with the remaining tablespoon of butter and lay on top of the eggs.
- After 5-7 minutes, flip both the bread and egg together using a large spatula.
- Quickly add a slice of cheddar cheese and a layer of deli ham on top of the cheese.
- Carefully remove the sandwich from the skillet, cut it in half, and serve warm.
