Step-by-Step Instructions for Egg and Ham Breakfast Sandwich
  1. In a medium bowl, crack the large eggs and whisk them together. Add a pinch of kosher salt and a dash of white pepper.
  2. Place a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Allow the butter to melt completely.
  3. Pour the egg mixture into the hot skillet and gently swirl it to spread evenly within the pan. Let cook undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Butter one side of each slice of bread with the remaining tablespoon of butter and lay on top of the eggs.
  5. After 5-7 minutes, flip both the bread and egg together using a large spatula.
  6. Quickly add a slice of cheddar cheese and a layer of deli ham on top of the cheese.
  7. Carefully remove the sandwich from the skillet, cut it in half, and serve warm.
