Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by patting dry the extra-large shrimp with paper towels to ensure there's no moisture for better searing.
  2. Sprinkle the shrimp with all-purpose flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to ensure every shrimp is coated evenly.
  3. In a large non-stick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat, swirling to combine.
  4. Once the butter is melted and foaming, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the coated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer, cooking for about 2 minutes without moving them to achieve a perfect sear.
  6. Gently flip each shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes until fully cooked through and opaque.
  7. Remove from heat and drizzle fresh lemon juice over the shrimp, tossing gently to combine.
