- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen cubed hash browns, crumbled bacon, 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and a pinch of salt. Stir thoroughly until well mixed.
- Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray and spread the hash brown mixture evenly across the bottom. Press down gently.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the large eggs and 2% milk until fully blended. Pour over the hash brown layer.
- Sprinkle paprika over the top of the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
