  • 2 cups Beef or chicken broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under cool water, peel if desired, then cut into even-sized pieces.
  2. Place the cut potatoes in the bottom of your slow cooker, spreading them out evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix over the potatoes, coating them evenly.
  4. Pour the broth over the potatoes until fully covered.
  5. Dot the top of the potato mixture with pieces of butter.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste, cover the slow cooker, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
  7. After cooking, stir the potatoes gently and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
