Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic for about 3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
  4. Mix cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, soy sauce, paprika, and thyme in a bowl to create the sauce.
  5. Place seared chicken in the baking dish and pour the sauce over it.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let it rest prior to serving over cooked rice.
