Ingredients
  

For the Burger Patties
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey Can substitute with ground chicken or plant-based crumbles.
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if necessary.
  • 3 stalks Green Onions Chopped.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped; parsley can replace if preferred.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger Grated.
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce/Tamari Use tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice Or lemon juice as an alternative.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil Can substitute with another oil.
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
For the Peanut Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter Nut-free alternatives can be used.
  • 1 tbsp Honey Maple syrup is a vegan alternative.
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Adjust to taste.
For Serving
  • 4 pieces Burger Buns Gluten-free options available.
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrot
  • 1 cup Cucumber Thinly sliced.
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Leaves
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion Sliced.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, cilantro, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Add soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper; mix gently.
  3. Divide mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties.
  4. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. While cooking, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and sriracha in a small bowl.
  7. Assemble burgers by spreading peanut sauce on buns and adding patties, carrots, cucumber, cilantro, and onion.
  8. Serve immediately with extra peanut sauce on the side.
