Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Divide 1 pound of ground beef into 4 equal portions, rolling each into a ball.
  2. Lay one tortilla flat on your work surface. Place one beef ball in the center.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper generously over the beef ball on the tortilla.
  4. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle a bit of oil to coat the bottom.
  5. Carefully place the tortilla with the beef side down in the hot skillet.
  6. Using a spatula, press down firmly to flatten the beef into a patty shape.
  7. Gently flip the taco over and immediately place a slice of cheese on top of the cooked beef.
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and beef balls.
  9. Spread a generous amount of burger sauce on each taco and set up a topping station.
