Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Combine sliced ripe bananas, granulated sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together self-rising flour, whole milk, sugar, and ground nutmeg until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and spoon the banana filling over it carefully.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
