Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine sliced boneless chicken thighs or breasts with egg white, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and let rest for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Fry marinated chicken for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  3. In the same skillet, add sesame oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and dried chilies for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in ketchup, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the fried chicken back to the skillet and toss to coat evenly. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
