Cooking Steps
  1. Pat the peeled and deveined shrimp dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and a chopped chili pepper or red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Season with 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika and a pinch of black pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in 1/2 cup of light lager beer, followed by 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Stir well and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Squeeze in the juice of one lime and stir in 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro before serving immediately.
