Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and chop all vegetables: broccoli, red bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms. Mince the garlic and measure soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking apart with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Stir in soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar, simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a separate pan, heat olive oil. Sauté minced garlic for 15-20 seconds, then add chopped mushrooms and sauté for 2 minutes.
  5. Add broccoli, zucchini, and bell pepper to the mushroom pan. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp, drizzling soy sauce towards the end.
  6. Plate rice into bowls, top with sautéed beef and veggies, and drizzle with extra soy sauce if desired.
