- In a food processor, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the finely chopped fresh basil to the cream cheese mixture and pulse until evenly distributed.
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on half of the bread slices.
- Layer sliced strawberries over the cream cheese on each piece of bread.
- Top with the remaining bread slices and gently press down to secure.
- Cut each sandwich into triangles for serving.
- Cover with a damp paper towel and store in a sealed container until ready to serve.
