Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all your ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the fresh corn kernels, creamed corn, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, honey, and melted butter. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently to combine without overmixing.
  5. Fold in the room temperature beaten eggs until just combined.
  6. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with extra butter or cooking spray and pour the corn mixture into the prepared dish.
