  • 4 fillets Grouper substitute with snapper or halibut if desired
  • 1 teaspoon Salt sea salt is ideal
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper adjust to taste, white pepper for milder flavor
For the Coconut Sauce
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk shake well before opening
  • 1 chili Chili use fresh or dried, based on heat preference
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil can substitute with coconut oil

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add chili and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Pour in coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the grouper fillets. Let rest at room temperature.
  3. In another skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Cook grouper fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and opaque.
  4. Serve grouper on plates and spoon coconut sauce generously over each fillet.
