  • 4 slices Bread of Choice Sourdough or whole wheat are excellent choices.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Flake the drained tuna into a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, minced onion, chopped celery, sweet pickle relish, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  2. Spread extra mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the slices of bread mayonnaise-side down. Add a slice of cheese on each piece, followed by the tuna filling.
  3. Place another slice of cheese on top of the tuna mix, then cover with the remaining bread, mayonnaise side facing up.
  4. Cook the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown.
  5. Flip each sandwich and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, let cool slightly, then slice in half and serve warm.
