- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel, core, and cut the apples into quarters.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and wrap each apple quarter snugly in the dough.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter, then stir in brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the dumplings in the baking dish.
- Carefully pour lemon soda around the dumplings, avoiding soaking them.
- Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
