Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Chill the pan by placing it in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form for about 2 minutes.
  4. Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture, then fold in the remaining whipped cream until uniform.
  5. Pour the mixture into the chilled loaf pan and freeze for at least 10 hours, or up to 24 hours for best consistency.
  6. After 2 hours, stir in the crushed peppermint candy, re-cover the pan, and return it to the freezer.
